Show Social Counter on the Collection Page

Wishlist Guru has introduced an exciting Counter Feature on the Collection Page, allowing you to display how many times a particular product has been added to the wishlist by users. This feature helps create a sense of product popularity and social proof, which can encourage other customers to add those items to their own wishlists or even purchase them. It’s a great way to highlight trending or in-demand products in your store.

The Counter Feature adds a visual indicator on the collection page, showing the number of times a product has been added to the wishlist. This number is displayed next to the Add to Wishlist icon or button, providing customers with real-time insight into which products are most popular among other shoppers.

Customization Options: #

You have full control over how this feature is displayed in your store. The counter can be easily managed via the Collection Settings, where you can:

  1. Increase and Decrease the Counter: You can allow the counter to reflect both increases and decreases in the number of wishlist adds. As customers add or remove products from their wishlist, the counter will adjust accordingly, keeping the number accurate.
  2. Increase and Disable: If you prefer to show only the increase in product popularity without allowing the counter to decrease (for example, to maintain positive social proof), you can enable this setting. This will ensure that once a product is added to a wishlist, the count only goes up.
  3. Off: If you’d prefer not to display the counter at all, you can simply disable the feature from the Collection Settings. This gives you the flexibility to decide whether or not you want to showcase this level of engagement with your products.
